Jul 12, 2021 Faber Says Khalid Belisle’s Removal was an Injustice The recent senatorial shuffle saw former Belmopan Mayor Khalid Belisle’s stint as a parliamentarian come to an abrupt end when he was replaced by former Senate President Darrell Bradley.  The move was essentially to pave the way for Bradley’s likely ascent to leadership should a recall of Patrick Faber be successful.  Belisle now appears to be collateral damage in the power struggle. When asked about the recent reordering of opposition senators, the incumbent U.D.P. leader says it was an injustice that fell Belisle.   Reporter “We know that the new Leader of the Opposition has shifted out one of the senators that you had originally chosen, in the name of Khalid Belisle, to replace him with Darrell Bradley.  Are you comfortable with the senatorial lineup as they are?”
