ST. Clairsville, Ohio – A man was hospitalized after crashing his vehicle into a tree early Monday morning. According to the St. Clairsville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident happened along I-70, about 2 miles east of the Belmont/Morristown exit. The driver, 25-year-old Andrew Mastracci of Michigan, allegedly lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree around 2 a.m.. The crash was not reported or discovered however, until around 6:30a.m.. Mastracci was then transported to Wheeling Hospital with undisclosed injury. He was cited for OVI, failure to control and for not wearing a seatbelt. The crash remains under investigation.
