Belmont World Film’s International Film Series Concludes with the New England premiere of AGOSTO Wicked Local Belmont World Film’s (BWF) 19th International Film Series concludes with the virtual screening of Agosto, directed by Cuban native Armando Capo, now until Monday, May 10, at 9 p.m. The screening culminates in a virtual discussion on Monday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. led by the film’s producer, Marcela Esquivel Jiménez, that includes a recorded message from Capo (who lives in Cuba and does not have access to internet during the evening due to the country s curfew). The discussion will be moderated by Xiomara Hipólita Feliberty-Casiano, a Spanish language instructor at Harvard. The screening is co-presented by the Boston Latino International Film Festival and the Cuba Studies Program at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard.
