Belmont World Film’s International Film Series continues with the virtual screening of “A Good Man” by Marie-Castille Mention-Schaar from 12:01 a.m. April 27 until 9 p.m. May 3.
The screening culminates in a virtual discussion led by Dr. Ariel Botta, a senior social worker, and Dr. Coleen Williams, a psychologist, at Boston Children s Hospital s Gender Multispecialty Services department, taking place on Zoom at 7:30 p.m. May 3, that is only available to ticket holders.
“Portrait of a Lady on Fire” star Noémie Merlant turns in another remarkable performance in the film as Benjamin, a woman transitioning to a man. While living on an island off the coast of Brittany in France, he and his partner (played by French chanteuse and actress Soko) decide to have a baby.
