The Belmond-Klemme National Honor Society will be collecting pop cans and bottles Saturday, Oct. 29. The proceeds from the collection will be donated to the Colts Corner Daycare.
â The Belmond-Klemme National Honor Society held a fundraiser for the Cheer Fund recently, and collected $650 for the local charity. Last week a check was presented to Pastor Katie Pals (center), Brandy Crawford and Krista Carlson (right) by Dora Bobadilla and Abby Bates (left). The other members of the NHS fundraising committee included Addie Buseman, Valeria Torres and Vanessa Naranjo. The money was raised by teachers who paid to wear jeans to school, raffling parking lot spaces and a âdash for cashâ where students run to their cars to collect change.
