A 35-year-old man who set off fire extinguishers in a local apartment block has been told that if he meets certain conditions he can do community service instead of going to jail.
On Saturday night we headed for the Carrickdale Hotel where a special fundraising night was taking place for Glenmore AC and as was expected, the place was packed for the night that included a performance by the hugely popular Fuzzy Burgers and a very impressive raffle (two tickets for Bruce Springsteen).
