Call for road safety measures in the Glebe A CALL has been made for  road safety improvements to be introduced  in the Glebe as residents have raised concerns about speeding in the area. In recent months the Bellspark Road has been resurfaced in a major improvement scheme as the road had deteriorated and was littered with potholes. Concerns have now been raised about speeding in the area, and Derg SDLP councillor Steven Edwards believes extra safety measures should be put in place. Advertisement Cllr Edwards welcomed the road resurfacing on Bellspark Road but explained this cannot be a ‘missed opportunity’ in terms of improving road safety in the area.
