Tufts University investigating 2 ‘incidents of hate’ on campus that involved anti-Asian rhetoric and a swastika on a shed

Tufts University is investigating a pair of incidents that occurred over the past week that included anti-Asian rhetoric followed by a large swastika found painted on a shed in campus, school president Tony Monaco said in a statement on Sunday.
Monaco said the first incident involved several Asian students walking along Professors Row when they were verbally assaulted with “hateful anti-Asian rhetoric” from individuals in a passing vehicle. The second involved a large swastika appearing on the Bello Field shed.
