A woman told police a harrowing experience with a man she encountered at a local convenience store in Central Texas.
According to a report from our news partners at KWTX, a woman who stopped at the Bell Mart convenience store located at 2917 Bellmead Drive on June 9 was allegedly assaulted by an unknown man.

The incident is said to have occurred at approximately 7 PM. Being that we re right in the middle of summer, that means the alleged assault happened in broad daylight.
The woman was pumping gas when she was approached and grabbed by a man described to be approximately six feet tall with a thin build and of African American descent. At the time of the alleged assault, the man was dressed in a black hoodie with a black face mask, denim shorts, and what appeared to be black shoes, possibly with a white backing.

BELLMEAD, Texas The Bellmead Police Department needs your help identifying a suspect.
Last month, on the evening of June 9, Bellmead police responded to a shooting near the Bell Mart convenience store at 2917 Bellmead Drive.
According to police, the gunman was wearing a black mask and hoodie and approached a woman who was pumping gas. Police said the suspect put something to the woman s side before grabbing her. The woman was able to escape, police said.
