The Harris Fire is now 45-percent contained as of Monday, July 19. The fire has burned 2,624 acres.Â
No structures were burned; however, a lot of pasture has been burned.
There is no update on the injured firefighter as of right now.
Fluctuating winds have been an issue.

Residents and landowners living along Cole Creek and Steen Rd. are able to re-enter the evacuation area according to an update from Carbon Alert.
Road closures in place for Cole Creek Rd., Stene Rd., all of Bellion Rd., Monahan Rd., and both entrances to Farewell Rd. have been lifted for resident and landowner access only the update said.

BILLINGS â On Sunday, Firefighters made progress on two fires that started over the weekend in Huntley and Joliet, said Kate Wilson, public information officer for the Montana Department of Natural Resource Conservation.

The Buffalo Fire burning near White Buffalo Road south of Huntley was relatively inactive on Sunday, which allowed firefighters to achieve 50 percent containment on the fire that s burned 300 acres and destroyed three structures.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, county emergency services, and Joliet Volunteer Fire, the evacuation orders are placed on the Cole Creek Road and Stene Road areas. Road closures include Cole Creek Road from Highway 212 to Bellion Road, all of Bellion Road, and both entrances of Farewell Road.
As of the press release at noon, no structure losses were reported.
Fire and county officials say the fire was caused by lightning and is burning about 2,500 acres with 0% containment.
According to a Facebook post by the Red Lodge Fire Rescue a Red Lodge Fire engine was burned over Friday while fighting the Harris Fire. The post says the two-person engine crew was attacking the fire when the wind suddenly shifted and the fire overtook them. One of the firefighters who suffered severe burns was flown to Salt Lake City for treatment.

The Harris Hill fire north of Joliet, which was caused by lightning, has grown to 2,500 acres with zero containment, firefighters said Saturday.
About 50 homes in the Coal Creek Road and Stene Road areas are under evacuation, according to a joint release from Joliet Volunteer Fire Department, the Carbon County Sheriff s Office and Carbon County Department of Emergency Services.
Road closures include Coal Creek Road from Highway 212 to Bellion Road, all of Bellion Road and both entrances of Farewell Road.
Multiple agencies are responding, and no structure losses have been reported.
