The City of Bakersfield said a nighttime closure for both directions of Real Road between Stockdale Highway and Elcia Drive is planned for Wednesday and Thursday.
The City of Bakersfield said construction on S. Union Avenue from Hwy. 99 to Belle Terrace will close the east and west off-ramps to Union starting Monday for a total of 30 days.
The City of Bakersfield said nighttime closures are planned for sections of southbound Hwy. 99 starting Monday, Aug. 1st, and Stockdale Highway starting Wednesday, Aug. 3rd.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department the man, who has not been identified, was hit by a car at the intersection of New Stine and Belle Terrace after 8 p.m. Saturday night.
