Clifton Village: why the area has one of Bristol s lowest covid rates
Locals talk about why Clifton Village has avoided much of the third wave

It is a sunny, but cold morning when we visit Clifton Village.
A lot of shops are shut as a result of England s third national lockdown, but there is quite a lot of people walking around the area.
They are grabbing a takeaway coffee or popping into one of the several Delis in the area while there is a long queue for a cake shop near the Arcade.
The reason we are here is because, for the past few weeks, Clifton Village has become a bit of an oddity - while coronavirus cases across the city have been rising, they have remained fairly low in this neighbourhood in the west side of the city.
