MOKANE, Mo. New Bloomfield freshman Addison Baker won the 400-meter dash and was the lead runner in the Lady Wildcats first-place 4x400 relay team in the South Callaway HS Invitational Thursday at South Callaway High School.
After finishing as runner-up in Class 2 District 3, seven New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats were named all-district, the most out of the three Callaway County schools in the district.
MOKANE New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats all-state catcher Myah Briggs went 3-4 with two home runs, a single, a walk, five RBI and three runs, but their pitching and fielding weren t good enough to win a district title.
