For the first time since 2016, the ladies have made it to Memorial Day weekend thanks to their 17-11 victory over No. 6 seeded Florida Gators in the NCAA quarterfinals at SU Soccer Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
It’s the eighth Final Four in program history, all of which have come under head coach

After a 5-5 first half in which SU struggled to find rhythm on offense, the Orange exploded for a 12-goal second half, outscoring the Gators by six to propel themselves on to the NCAA tournament semifinals.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The sixth-seeded Florida lacrosse team has its eyes set on the program’s second Final Four berth in history when the team takes on the third-ranked Syracuse Orange on Saturday afternoon.
Opening draw is slated for 2 p.m. on ESPN3 with Corey Spector and Samantha Croston on the call. The game can also be heard on FloridaGators.com/watch with Sean Salisbury on the call.
Florida and Syracuse have faced off 11 prior times in program history, with two of those meetings coming in the postseason (2012, 2013). The Orange hold the 7-4 series advantage.
