In a lineup loaded with bats, Ella Galloway s single made the difference for the Great Falls High Lady Bison.
The sophomore delivered a single with two on and two out in the bottom of the seventh inning Saturday afternoon to plate Stephanie Jablonski with the winning run in the Bison s 9-8 Eastern AA Conference win over the Billings West Golden Bears at MultiSports.
Jablonski reached on an error with one out and reached second on Alex Bloomgren s single. Tehneson Ehnes then flied to short center to set the stage for the right-handed batting Galloway. It was a low pitch, so I was kind of afraid, Galloway said afterward. But I started going so I just had to stick with it.
