The deadly storm system that claimed 56 lives as it swept through the south and midwest is now dumping snow on northern new england. Half a foot has fallen in maine. Its also producing historic flooding in missouri, where theyre filling and stacking sandbags to hold back the surging Mississippi River. Bad weather is blamed for more than tin,000 flight delays in the past few days, and more than 4,000 cancellations.
