Wensley House care home, Epping. Photo: Google Maps An Epping care home’s coronavirus safety measures have passed an inspection by the national care watchdog. Wensley House Residential Home was visited by Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspectors earlier this year as part of the organisation s response to care homes with outbreaks of Covid-19. The care home, which was previously rated ‘requires improvement’ overall by CQC in a report published in 2019, was reported by CQC to have experienced an outbreak in January of this year. Commission inspectors reviewed the home in Bell Common and deemed its infection prevention and control practices were up to standard.
