Wood River budget hearing set March 15

WOOD RIVER City council members will hold a public hearing via teleconference at 7 p.m. March 15 on the city’s proposed budget before the regularly scheduled council meeting.
At Monday’s meeting Mayor Cheryl Maguire, on behalf of the council and Wood River citizens in general, thanked firefighter Kris Ayres for his service following his return from overseas deployment. She also thanked StorCo Storage Solutions Wood River for lending their business facility and workers to help coordinate a local food drive in which 1,000 boxes of fresh food was distributed.
