Theater Festival marks return to theaters in Puerto Rico
San Juan, (Prensa Latina) The Puerto Rican and International Theater Festival is currently the trump card of culture in this country as it marks the return to theaters on May 14.
Until June 27, the event will host the staging of the five plays selected by an evaluation committee, which bear the stamp of important figures of the stage and emerging talents, while paying tribute to local playwright Belen Rios, of recognized prestige in the country and Latin America.
Arranged by the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, the encounter will be held at the Francisco Arrivi and Victoria Espinosa theaters in Santurce, which will be able to receive 30 percent of the total capacity.
