The participants of the NATO summit held in late June decided to significantly increase NATO military presence in the Baltic countries. Under the Enhanced Forward Presence program, NATO will bolster the multinational battlegroups from battalions up to brigade size.
"Despite the high level of development, the Republic of Korea is facing a number of serious economic problems. Belarusian business can help Korea deal with some of its problems on beneficial terms,” ambassador said.
"Vietnam is a gateway to Southeast Asia for Belarus. Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation has shown good dynamics: the trade exceeded $200 million in 2021, with exports and imports being on a parity basis," Ambassador Vladimir Borovikov said.
Belarus has been long and consistently working to expand its cooperation with Asian countries, Director of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study Nikolai Borisevich said before the opening of the expert seminar “Pivot to Asia: Reality, Problems, Prospects”.
According to Aleksei Avdonin, the climate factor and the coronavirus pandemic have resulted in the virtual depletion of food in every country. “As of the beginning of 2022 the global food reserves were at their lowest since World War Two. These factors led to natural rapid increase in food prices,” he said.
