“The relations between our peoples, between the two countries are built on a consistent basis. Inter-parliamentary relations play an important role here, of course,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.
"We welcome the fact that our trade is growing. In 2022, it amounted to $160 million, an increase of 60%. In January-July of this year, it already totaled $90 million, up by about 30%. This is very important," Vladimir Andreichenko said.
Nurlanbek Shakiev said: “The advancement and enhancement of friendly relations with the Republic of Belarus is a priority direction of our foreign policy. The Republic of Belarus is our important partner both in the format of bilateral relations and within the framework of common regional integration associations.”
Nicaragua has plans to step up cooperation and strengthen friendly relations with Belarus, First Vice-President of the National Assembly of Nicaragua Arling Patricia Alonso Gómez told reporters following her meeting with Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko, BelTA reports.
This is the first visit of the Nicaraguan parliamentary delegation to Belarus. “We view it as evidence of serious intentions to bring our inter-parliamentary relations to a qualitatively new level,” Vladimir Andreichenko said. “Belarusian MPs are ready for it.”
