Seven years ago the rocket artillery brigade received the multiple-launch rocket systems V-200 Polonez, which had been developed by Belarusian defense enterprises. It was a brand new system for Belarus' Armed Forces.
An exhibition was organized within the framework of the conference to showcase modern robotized systems for reconnaissance and radioelectronic warfare. Apart from that, a complex practical exercise took place. It involved live fire and the use of strike drones and reconnaissance drones.
According to Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus Viktor Gulevich, the exercise is a logical conclusion of the training of operational and tactical command and control bodies. The active phase of the exercise will last from 22 September through 26 September.
Viktor Gulevich said: “All the goals have been reached. The tasks have been accomplished well. The exercise vividly demonstrated the high cohesion of military command and control bodies.”
