Belarusians should go to the polls, otherwise, if they start hesitating and ignore the referendum, this will be a shame for the country, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he answered reporters' questions on 24 February.
“I am sure that what we are proposing, what I have proposed to the people - the Constitution draft - is a Constitution of the future. The most important thing is that we must learn to strictly abide by the law without veering left or right in the coming two or three years. Then there will be no dual power,” the head of state said.
