The joint operational and strategic exercise Combat Brotherhood 2023 that will be held on the territory of Belarus on 1-6 September is a pre-planned and transparent event, State Secretary of Belarus' Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich said during a working trip to Brest, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Volfovich noted that the West blames Belarus for using migrants as a leverage to put pressure. “But they fail to mention that every week the Poles try to push more than 100 people to the territory of Belarus, which is prevented by our border services,” he said.
The plenary session of the forum will discuss threats to international security in modern conditions, as well as problems of global food security. Panel discussions are planned to consider the functioning of the system of international information security and cooperation in combating drug trafficking.
Political and economic sanctions, cyber threats have given rise to many new challenges and threats, State Secretary of Belarus' Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich told reporters.
