Belarus' National Library is hosting a discussion platform with representatives of the civil society and political parties. Participants of the meeting are expected to discuss a draft of the updated national security concept under Aleksandr Volfovich's chairmanship.

MINSK, 29 December (BelTA) – Belarus National Library played host to an event to present the edition “The Republic of Belarus: 25 years of creation and accomplishments”, BelTA learned from the organizers of the launch event.
“This is the biggest, most wide-ranging and comprehensive work in the recent history of the Belarusian state. The book saw the light of day earlier this year in the Belorusskaya Nauka publishing house. The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) was the main organization to prepare and publish the edition,” the library noted.
Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov hailed the work undertaken by the authors and their contribution to the analysis of the establishment of the sovereign Belarus. “This massive research involved more than 400 authors, including specialists of the National Library.
