Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, as the province is poised to have 50 per cent of the eligible population vaccinated with at least one dose by the end of the day.
Two of Wednesday s cases are in the Eastern Health region. One is travel-related, while the other is still under investigation, said Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald during the province s weekly pandemic update. The third case is in the Western Health region and a contact of a previous case.

Four of Monday s new cases are related to travel within Canada while six are close contacts of previous cases.

Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting 10 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, four of them related to travel within Canada and six that are close contacts of previous cases.
Two of Monday s cases are in the Eastern Health region: one travel-related and the other a close contact of another case. Two are in Central Health, with the same breakdown as in the Eastern region. The other six new cases are in Western Health: two travel-related and four close contacts.

There are two cases in the Eastern Health region, three in the Central Health region and four in the Western Health region.

Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting nine new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the number of active cases to 85.
All nine cases are travel-related, with two cases in the Eastern Health region, three in the Central Health region and four in the Western Health region.
With two new recoveries, the province s active caseload ticks upward to 86.

Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, as regional health authorities swing open the doors to vaccination clinics for residents over 30 years old.
Friday s cases are split three apiece between the Eastern Health and Western Health regions. Each Eastern case is related to travel within Canada, while on Newfoundland s west coast, one case is related to travel and two are contacts of previous cases, according to the provincial Department of Health.
