LAFIRNE N. TASSELLI
Lafirne “Fern” N. Tasselli, 95, of Lock Haven passed away on Jan. 25, 2021 at Haven Place, Lock Haven after an extended illness.
Born Jan. 7, 1926, she was the oldest daughter of the late Maurice and Minnie (Bowersox) Orndorf.
Fern was a graduate of Lock Haven High School where during her senior year she participated in a war-related work release program at Piper Aircraft.
After graduation, she attended the Beebe Hospital School of Nursing in Lewis, Delaware as a Cadet Nurse.
On Oct. 5, 1946 she married her loving and devoted husband, Vito J. Tasselli, upon his safe return from World War II.
