Pleasantville Public Schools just announced that dozens of students and staff have to quarantine after being exposed to COVID-19.
The district traced the COVID-19 back to two initial cases - one at the high school and the other at Bedford Road School.
The case at the high school was contained, but at Bedford Road School, 31 kids and two adults have to quarantine for 10 days.
The Bedford Road School, which serves kindergartners through fourth graders, just opened in-person learning full-time last Wednesday.
Pleasantville school district has not announced any plans to change its return-to-school plan as a result of the new COVID-19 cases.
