United Way to Host a Winter Mobile Market in February
United Way of Greater New Bedford launched the Mobile Market in 2015 to provide low-income working families with fresh produce. The market’s primary focus is to remove the barriers that families often face when accessing fresh produce, such as cost and transportation.
The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on the SouthCoast in terms of food insecurity, and United Way has made every effort to support members of the community during this difficult time.
