After a jury in Minneapolis found former police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on all counts in the murder of George Floyd, law enforcement officials around the country weighed in on the verdict including Billerica and Bedford police.
Chauvin, 45, was found guilty of second- and third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. In the wake of yesterday’s jury verdict in the trial of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, Billerica Police will continue to work towards building trust and legitimacy with the communities it serves, Bilerica police Deputy Chief Roy W.
