Celebrate the Arts

You are invited to Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus to “Celebrate the Arts.” The evening will feature music, theatre, and dance performances, as well as exhibited student art. Handel s Messiah

The Department of Music at Southeast will present Handel’s Messiah on November 29. This holiday favorite will be performed by the Southeast Missouri Symphony, University Choir, Choral Union, and Chamber Choir. Beautiful symphonic music will open the program. The performance will take place Tuesday, November 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Bedell Performance Hall on Southeast’s River Campus.

The Frozen Cathedral

The Department of Music at Southeast will present The Frozen Cathedral on October 25. Hear the Southeast Wind Symphony as it performs John Mackey's masterwork inspired by Mount McKinley. The performance will take place Tuesday, October 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Bedell Performance Hall on Southeast's River Campus.

Much Ado about Nothing at the River Campus (Sept 28

The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance will present “Much Ado about Nothing.” The giddiness of the game of love, tempered by conspiracy, inflames this witty and enchanting romantic Shakespearean comedy, where one couple strives for love, while the other is kept apart by pride. “Much Ado about Nothing” will be presented September 28 - October 2 in the Bedell Performance Hall at the River Campus. Sept. 28 - Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. & Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. and Oct. 1-2 at 2 p.m.
