Consumers should stop using the recalled bed rails immediately and contact Platinum Health for a free repair kit. Consumers who use model PHB7000D on twin beds will receive a free replacement bed rail redesigned to properly fit twin beds. Platinum Health expects the remedy to be available beginning in late March 2023.
In both incidents, officials say the bed rails were not securely attached to the bed. The two victims became entrapped between the product and their mattresses.
