Color, young people for biden and harris. So we have been doing an amazing effort. We have had working with pennsylvania stands up, great grassroots organization, we have inn training our volunteers sevenhour deep canvassing training. Over 600 of them have participated in this effort. We have made over 140,000 phone calls in pennsylvania in the last 3. 5 weeks. Now we are focused on geo tv. In the early weeks, we were focused on persuasion, listening, and helping to move people along the scale, on addressing some of their concerns if they were either thinking about it for trump, turning them around, or if they were not sure theyre going to vote for biden, moving them along that scale. It has been an amazing effort. I am so proud of our volunteers and people who are refusing to leave anything on the line to make sure we do everything we can to elect joe biden and Kamala Harris. Looks no doubt the efforts we made, the congress woman, what about in pennsylvania or other key states, if the
Welcome to Washington Post live. Our program election daily 1 00 p. M. Eastern every day. Well welcome representative jaapal from Washington State. The cochair of the progressive caucus in the house. One of those leaders in washington who regardless of who wins will be a voice in the Democratic Party in the years to come. She is already campaigning across the country. I have two of my colleagues i have been waiting to hear from a long time. Steve, whost the news letter and emily. Lets go to the program. Voters finally get to decide. It is the voters, you who get to decide. Here is what im hearing. Number one, the Trump Campaign, republicans are concerned about my home area. The philadelphia suburbs. They have seen rogues there. Because of that erosion in the philadelphia suburbs so critical, you heard the chant of fire fauci last night at the trump rally. He is turning to his base. Running against the doctors stoking that base in central pennsylvania and other parts of the country. It
To equate and eventually end this apartment peach met process. This is dead on arrival in the senate. So they look dead on arrival but the vote was not technically at iran pauls motion but it was to table it for their few senators like rob portman who said click declared unconstitutional. Its on both sides is it possible five or more vote to convict. Its possible. Itssa almost certain to end in another acquittal. Never trust on february 9 presold whole lot about what it is going to look like. Republicans certainly do not want to have a lot of time spent will see what happens in the next few weeks how many senators are needed to convict . You need 67ou senators of everybody shows up, two thirds of the people who show up and vote. Those have to devote to convict. But it is never happened before with the president or expresident. Ed sue needs 17 Senate Republicans to vote to convict. We had five who sort of crossed party lines yesterday to get rid of iran pauls motion. Thats a dozen short

Facebook up 4. 7 after facebook and twitter both blocked President Trump, a video on covid misinformation. Facebook getting a bounce on that considering they had not taken a strong action in the past, something some investors wanted to see. Making it interesting, when we take a look at the vix on the nasdaq 100, it is higher. That tells you going into the payrolls report or some expectation volatility tomorrow could pop. David stocks may not be moving much yet, but there is action on the bond side. My question is how low can the 10 year yield go. We are well into negative territory on the real yield. Abigail this is a great question. We have had this rally for stocks, not just out of the march lows, but more recently as the nasdaq has been carving out alltime highs. Over the last five weeks, bonds have been rallying. A very persistent rally in stocks and bonds. Many fo

Pandemic an interesting time for investors, distressed investors among them. Erik schatzker is speaking to howard marks of oaktree. Always terrific to have howard marks with us on bloomberg television. Weigh in on tenterhooks for your memos. A lot of them in march and april. Not so many as of late. You are out with another one, time for thinking. You raise a number of provocative points and questions. Them states the obvious, the Financial Markets are at the center of a titanic struggle between the pandemic on the one hand, and the government effectively on the other, recession versus the fed and treasury department. You and i have talked about this before. As recently as may, youre thinking was that the fed could not keep it up forever. Am i to divine that perhaps youre thinking has changed on that subject . No, i still dont know if they can keep it up forev
