ADVER readers would keep social distancing measures in place post-pandemic if given the option. A small survey of lockdown rules we would like to stay once restrictions are lifted revealed that many preferred the two-metre rule when out and about in public. Others suggested mask-wearing and hand sanitising should become commonplace while a couple of people hoped table service at pubs would stick around and one preferred working from home to going into the office. Some wanted all of the lockdown rules gone for good. Amy Francis said: Social distancing for sure. Especially when restaurants and bars open fully. Restaurants cram so many tables in, you are almost elbow to elbow at times.
