SO what is the collective noun for elves? A ‘present’ of elves? A ‘magic’ of elves? The suggestion from Gandalf in the ‘Lord of the Rings’ is a ‘glamour’ of elves. As far as Ilkley Playhouse is concerned we’ve had a touch of all three this week when the ‘Elf Postal Delivery Service’ swung into action. In previous years members visiting the Playhouse at Christmas have taken the opportunity to swap cards via an alphabetical Christmas card ‘delivery’ box. With the building being closed for the moment a different approach was required to maintain this ‘service’ for the Playhouse community. Step forward the iP elves!
