The Rebecca Bricker Scholarship Committee and the Sebring – West Branch Area Community Foundation is accepting applications for the Becky Bricker Scholarship. Bricker was a longtime kindergarten teacher with the West Branch Local School District and was regarded as a leading educator with a unique talent for engaging young minds.
This year will be the 11th year of the scholarship. Candidates for the scholarship must be current sophomores or juniors at the college level and must be majoring in elementary education or a related field (art, music, physical education, reading specialist, etc). The applicant must have a 2.2 college grade point average. Two scholarships of $1,000 can be awarded to qualified applicants with preference being given to junior students.
