“There’s a lot of need out there,” said Michele Baker, chair of the local Red Kettle Campaign. “And the last few years the campaign has been down – donations have been down.”
“We kind of got off to a slow start, because we were not able to get a whole lot of volunteers some of the groups that have typically filled some of the slots are not doing it,” for a variety of reasons, said an organizer.
