This happened not far from southern and alabama avenues. When officers got to the scene they found the man unconscious. He was shot several times. Rescuers tried to save him but he died at the hospital. Police have not released a description of the gunman. It maybe the weekend but we could see progress in the shutdown showdown. House republicans could vote on a budget bill as early as this afternoon and this comes a day after the Senate Passed a bill that would keep the government running into november. It does not defund the new healthcare law which republicans in the house are trying to do. Time is of the essence here. Patrol officers actually saw this silver car, an suv, blow right past them through two intersections, and then around a bus before hitting the minivan so hard that it rolled and the suv rolled too here at pine and golf street. A delivery man with three people inside also hit too. They suffered nonlifethreatening injuries, though.
