After two years of development, Zadokâs massive new 1801 Post Oak Blvd location is ready to host one of Houstonâs biggest bridal events: its Summer Bridal Soiree. Head upstairs July 9â10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and youâll get the chance to try on collections from some of Houstonâs most famous ring and band designers. Youâll be sure to walk out with your dream ring, or at least find out
what your dream ring is.
If anything, you might walk out with a gemstone. Beccaâs Cakes will be onsite, selling 100 individual cakes with a gem hidden inside one of them, kingâs cake style.

The partners behind Details are light, but here s what Stomping Grounds owner Revive Development provided in a recent email newsletter: Blood Bros. BBQ operators Quy Hoang, Robin and Terry Wong to team up with Pastry Chef Alyssa Dole (Agricole Hospitality, The Kirby Group) on a new concept for Revive Development s Stomping Grounds in Garden Oaks.
Cherry Block Craft Butcher and Kitchen, 409 Travis, will depart Bravery Chef Hall January 31 in order to open two new locations in Katy and Garden Oaks. The first, Cherry Block Craft Butcher and Market, 5305 Highway Boulevard, will open in early February. Cherry Block is a partnership between Felix Flores, owner of Falcon Lakes Farms, and chef Jess DeSham Timmons. The new shop will offer locally sourced heritage meats through Flores wholesale distribution company. The butcher shop and market will be both wholesale and retail with a dry aging room, custom bacon and seasonings and chef-prepared meals. The staff at the current Bravery Chef Hall spot have been offered positions at the Katy market until the second location opens later this summer.
