Some of Wirral’s main libraries are reopening today, as cases of Covid-19 continue to decline.
Stock picture of library FOUR Wirral libraries will reopen on Monday, operating an order and collect service as lockdown measures are gradually eased. Bebington Central, Birkenhead Central, Wallasey Central and West Kirby will open their doors to order and collect customers, with orders able to be placed from this Thursday. The system allows you to pre-order up to eight paperback, hardback and/or talking books at a time and collect them from one of the four libraries. You can choose your books, request a selection from a specific genre or author or, if you re looking for inspiration, opt for a lucky dip where the council s team of librarians will hand pick a range of three to four surprise titles.
