On May 10, RCMP in Williams Lake were called to a tree plant camp at the 2200 Block of Beaver Lake Road near McLeese Lake.
It was reported that a person at the camp had a firearm and was chasing another person. Police immediately responded to the area due to the reported presence of the firearm, the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog services were called to assist.
The suspect was seen going into their residence at the camp and it was believed that another person was also inside. Attempts both verbally and by phone to have the people exit the house were unsuccessful.
