Murphy has connections to wide receivers like Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei’s CJ Williams, who plays with Sarkisian’s son at the Los Angeles-area powerhouse and USC pipeline, and St. Louis (Mo.) St. Mary’s Kevin Coleman. Williams, like Stewart, is a top-40 prospect nationally, while Coleman is even more highly considered, ranking No. 18 as a consensus five-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
