A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Leicester which has left his alleged victim recovering from his injuries in hospital.
Lewis Fape, of no fixed abode, is accused of attacking another man in the Beaumont Leys area of the city, last week.
The 43-year-old appeared at Leicester Magistrates Court today, Monday April 19 charged with wounding with intent, threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place and two counts of threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.

Burglars stole cash when they raided a business in Leicester earlier this month, according to police.
