A.J. Turner and Chris Durio won the seats that W.L. Pate and Robin Mouton vacated to run for mayor of Beaumont.
Tuesday was a busy day at city hall. Ward Two Councilman Mike Getz, and Ward Three Councilman Audwin Samuel easily won re-election.

BEAUMONT, Texas The winter storm and all those broken pipes became a big focus at Tuesday’s Beaumont City Council meeting.
The city council started looking at some of its priorities, and at the top of that list was infrastructure. Also, on the agenda were projects to make Beaumont better.
After last week’s winter storm, people experienced major water leaks, which could lead to high water bills. So, city leaders are proposing a new leak adjustment especially for winter events.
