And befriending her. She wanted to be a writer. She hosted a literary salon. She was a renaissance woman who had had love affairs with men and women as a young woman. Her story had spoken to me so much that i ended up telling the story of how this chronicle made its way back to her and was sort of given as a gift to the rest of the world.
