North Nashville bookstore owner buys building near Slim & Husky s
A Buchanan Arts District commercial building located near Slim & Husky s Pizza Beeria has sold for $1.4 million, with the new owner known for his Alkebu-Lan Images bookstore on nearby Jefferson Street.
The 0.36-acre North Nashville property, on which sits a 12,740-square-foot masonry building built in 1946, is located at
1410 Buchanan St. in what is sometimes called the Osage/North Fisk neighborhood. Its new owners are Yusef Harris, owner of Alkebu-Lan Images, and son Jordan Harris. Located at
2721 Jefferson St., Alkebu-Lan Images also sells art and apparel.
“We have a few plans but have not firmed them up,” Jordan Harris told the
