Tacoma, washington officer is dead after being shot multiple times. And a standoff is still taking place with the suspect early this morning. Angelica joins us from the newsroom with the latest. The officer was responding to a Domestic Violence call last night when he was shot. The scene remains an active situation. And the neighborhood remains on lockdown. Police believe the shooter is still barricaded in a home. Several people including children were able to get out of the house following the shoo last night a procession of Law Enforcement officers escorted the officers body from the hospital to the medical examiners office. The officer has not been identified. We do know he was 45years old and was a 17year veteran of the Tacoma Police force. Wisconsins statewide president ial recount begins at 9 this morning.
