Tacoma, washington officer is dead after being shot multiple times. And a standoff is still taking place with the suspect early this morning. Angelica joins us from the newsroom with the latest. The officer was responding to a Domestic Violence call last night when he was shot. The scene remains an active situation. And the neighborhood remains on lockdown. Police believe the shooter is still barricaded in a home. Several people including children were able to get out of the house following the shoo last night a procession of Law Enforcement officers escorted the officers body from the hospital to the medical examiners office.
