New Mexico COVID-19 Update: 673 New Cases April 24-26, Total 196,844 With 3 New Deaths And 177,866 Recovered
STATE News:
SANTA FE – New Mexico Department of Health officials announced today 673 new COVID-19 cases for the period of April 24-26.
Los Alamos County reports 2 new cases over the last three days bringing the total to 516 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)
Today’s update includes 3 new deaths over the 3-day period in New Mexico related to COVID-19.
The New Mexico Department of Health reports the most recent cases:
SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials on Friday announced 245 additional COVID-19 cases and 1 death. As of today, there are 116 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19. This number may include individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 out of state but are currently hospitalized in New Mexico. This number does not include New Mexicans who tested positive for COVID-19 and may have been transferred to a hospital out of state.
Per the state Department of Health, the most recent cases are:
59 new cases in Bernalillo County
8 new cases in Chaves County
4 new cases in Curry County
46 new cases in Doña Ana County
One additional COVID-19 death
