STA. Lucia is also moving from the Philippine Super Liga to the Premier Volleyball League.
The Lady Realtors announced on Tuesday that they will be part of the PVL Open Conference tentatively set on May 8 under a bubble format at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna.
Sta. Lucia made the announcement hours after PVL president Ricky Palou confirmed that the Chery Tiggo Crossovers expressed their desire to play in their league.

THE first local volleyball tournament to be held amid the coronavirus pandemic is in the books after the Philippine Superliga (PSL) Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup successfully concluded at the weekend.
A three-day event at the sand courts of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority in Zambales, the tournament churned out quality action with Abanse Negrense A emerging as the champion in the eight-team field.
The team of Alexa Polidario and Erjane Magdato defeated Sta. Lucia A (21-15, 21-17) in the finals, capping a dominant showing for the team that saw it not dropping a game or a set throughout the tournament.

AFTER experiencing some delay, the Philippine Superliga (PSL) Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup finally pushes through this weekend at the sand courts of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority in Zambales.
Originally set to take place in November, the tournament was deferred to a later date because of the impending threat by Typhoon Ulysses then.
The Challenge Cup, presented by Gatorade, will be a three-day event beginning on Friday and feature eight competing teams.
It will be the first volleyball event to take place since restrictions were put in place by authorities last year to guard against the coronavirus; something not lost to the organizers of the event, which is why they made sure they covered everything needed so as to ensure the safe conduct of the tournament.
