Votuntown Police said a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash in Voluntown on Saturday evening, and the man was taken by Life Star helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
Police said the accident between a car and motorcycle occurred at the intersection of Beach Pond Road and Rockville Road about 7:27 p.m. on Saturday.
The road remains closed while the accident team reconstructs the crash, police said. The state Department of Transportation was helping out during the road closures. Loading comment count.
