Routine coffee run leads to lottery win for BC Interior man
A Salmon Arm man is eyeing a new car and golf clubs after a recent lottery win.
The life-changing win came after Nicholas Sayers went for his routine coffee run at the Co-op Gas Bar on 10th Ave NE in Salmon Arm. He got his coffee, but Sayers also decided to buy a Deluxe Crossword scratch & win ticket.
Once home, Sayers scratched the ticket and discovered that he had won a whopping $75,000.
“I was on my last letter and I had three words,” he explained. “I started to uncover more words and realized I had won.”
